The Empire State Book Tour aims to empower authors and help them get more exposure. It’s an initiative conceptualized by ReadersMagnet to keep its promise to share your story with the world. Take all the opportunities you have to make yourself known and attract more readers to your book.

The ReadersMagnet Empire State Book Tour is a two-week book event. It is composed of three book fairs happening concurrently. It’s a combination of online and offline book fairs that start on October 24 and end on November 6, 2022. You can leverage your time, investment, online presence, and social networking skills within two weeks.

Join the Virtual Book Fair

Relaunching on October 24, 2022, Chapter 3 of The Festival of Storytellers (TFOS) marks the start of the book tour. It’s the biggest virtual book fair you can capitalize on with thousands of online fairgoers. Exposing yourself to this first event will benefit you, especially if you attend the next two events in New York.

The fact is that TFOS will be the one happening virtually, from October 24 to November 6. This means, while physically attending the event in Tribeca or Saratoga, you can still connect with your viewers online. It’s a book fair you can join in as long as you have a smartphone or tablet with you (and an internet connection, of course).

Hitch in Tribeca Book Confab

Like the Empire State Book Tour itself, the ReadersMagnet Book Confab is an innovative creation of your trusted self-publishing agency. It is designed to make your TFOS experience more productive. It’s also a brilliant way to prepare you for the NYLA Conference in Saratoga.

The Book Confab in Tribeca, New York is a pop-up event on October 28 to 30, 2022. You can use this as an avenue to build connections with an affluent audience. There will be a BookTok where a guest or fairgoer can read an excerpt from your book. One of the activities is called Open Mic where a spoken poetry or book reading could happen. The exercises will be recorded for documentary purposes and for you to leverage for your social media content.

Go Over to the NYLA Book Exhibit

After the Tribeca event, the Empire State Book Tour continues with the New York Library Association (NYLA) Conference and Trade Show in Saratoga Springs, New York. Since NYLA is as respectable as the American Library Association, this event on November 3 to 4 will surely be populated by librarians, academics, professors, publishers, and more. Aside from ReadersMagnet, exhibitors also include Penguin Random House, Oxford University Press, Cornell University Press, and more.

ReadersMagnet will display self-published books, facilitate book signings for authors, and make fairgoers productive with Scavenger Hunt. Aside from agreeing with the NYLA’s mission to lead, educate, and advocate for the advancement of the New York library community, RM is also dedicated to sharing your stories beyond the Empire State.
