Submerging yourself in a fictional book will take you into a whole new world you haven’t seen before. That’s the best thing in creative writing; you might not experience the same thing in the real world. But this fall season, ReadersMagnet will take you to the Empire State Book Tour— physically and virtually.

As you know it, the Empire State refers to the State of New York. It was named so because of its historical, financial, and cultural wealth. It is where you can find the breathtaking Niagara Falls, the Hudson River, Fire Island, the United Nations headquarters, Wall Street, Times Square, the Statue of Liberty, and of course, the Empire State Building itself. Indeed, it’s almost a fictional place to meet with authors or get inspiration for your novel.

Two of our physical book tours will happen in New York: one in Tribeca and the other in Saratoga Springs. On the other hand, the virtual event will take the hype to the towering peak of the Empire State through our digital platforms.

The Festival of Storytellers Chapter 3

The book tour will kick-start with The Festival of Storytellers (TFOS), which is now in its third season. Starting during the pandemic in 2020, TFOS is designed to meet the needs of authors to stay connected with other writers and fans. It’s a big virtual festival for thousands of authors, publishers, illustrators, marketers, and brands.

It will give opportunities for those who can’t go to New York for the two physical events. Stages and booths will be available online for authors where they can create videos, interact with other writers, market their books, and direct viewers on their social media accounts.

The previous TFOS events are proven effective with 69K online views, 10K attendees, 6,300 chats, and success stories of book sales. Since it is digital, the event is shareable on social networks, such as YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and blog sites. TFOS will run from October 24 to November 6, 2022, at www.thefestivalofstorytellers.com

ReadersMagnet Book Confab

Similar to TFOS, the Book Confab is a unique creation of our self-publishing and marketing firm, the ReadersMagnet. Dedicated to our commitment to sharing your stories with the world, RM’s Book Confab is crafted with your needs in mind. We rephrase our tagline to “Let Your Stories Be Heard!” to make sure that the activities will focus on sharing you as an author and your literary works.

The Confab aims to be a gathering of book enthusiasts, providing them an avenue to share their stories and be on the lookout for new and upcoming best-selling books in New York City.

The Book Confab will be held in Tribeca, New York, specifically at 72 Warren St., New York, New York. As you know, Tribeca (Triangle Below Canal Street) is an affluent and panoramic place of arts and culture. It is chosen to make sure that you’ll get opportunities to showcase your poems, fiction, or non-fiction book(s).

Among the many activities include our #BookTok, where you can read or someone could read an excerpt from your book or poems. The public reading will be documented and uploaded on your social media accounts, such as TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube. It will happen from October 28 to 30, 2022.

New York Library Association Conference and Trade Show

The biggest and most prestigious of all the book tours this season is the NYLA Conference and Trade Show in Saratoga Springs, New York. After all, the two events above are created to make hype for the 2022 NYLA Conference. ReadersMagnet makes sure that authors will not travel to New York empty-handed. We secured different paths to make yourself known and be heard before, during, and after the conference.

Similar to regular book fairs, Saratoga will be a place for featured book displays and feature authors’ meet-and-greet. If you join us at the event, you’ll also get promotional materials on top of our event promotion via a website event posting submitted to more than 1,000 event sites across the United States.

The 2022 NYLA will be carried out on November 3 and 4, 2022, by one of the oldest and most active library associations in the U.S.: The New York Library Association.
