Mini-Book Confab at LATFOB

At the heart of ReadersMagnet’s presence were the Mini-Book Confab sessions, which quickly became the talk of the festival—online and offline. These intimate gatherings provided a platform for authors—both RM and non-RM visitors—to share their work, connect with readers, and celebrate the power of storytelling through #BookTok and Open Mic sessions. To make them more memorable, the sessions went LIVE through the social media platforms of ReadersMagnet. From poignant poetry to gripping real-life stories, each session was a testament to the diverse voices and narratives that enrich the literary landscape.

Scavenger Hunt with a Kindle Prize

But the excitement didn’t stop there. ReadersMagnet also hosted a thrilling Scavenger Hunt that sent attendees on a quest to uncover hidden literary treasures scattered throughout the festival grounds. Armed with clues and a spirit of adventure, participants embarked on a journey that led them to discover new authors, explore different genres, and forge lasting connections with fellow book lovers. The wheel of fortune was rotated LIVE to randomly pick the winners of brand-new Kindle devices. As a result, two lucky participants of the Scavenger Hunt will be receiving the prizes in the next few days.

But perhaps what truly set ReadersMagnet apart was the sense of community it fostered. Beyond the buzz of activity and the thrill of discovery, the booth was a gathering place where readers and writers alike came together to celebrate their shared love of literature. Whether engaging in spirited discussions, exchanging recommendations, or simply basking in the collective joy of being surrounded by books, attendees found solace and inspiration in the warmth of the ReadersMagnet community.

As the curtains closed on another unforgettable LA Times Festival of Books, the memories of camaraderie, discovery, and inspiration lingered on.
