The year 2018 brought both milestones and challenges for ReadersMagnet Self-Publishing Company. The three-year-old enterprise continues to establish its place in the publishing industry by improving its publishing and marketing services and adding new ones to further serve its authors. There were also major breakthroughs last year such as our partnership with Ric Bratton and This Week in America, the increase in the number of published authors and of course, our first ever Miami Book Fair International stint as one of the event’s exhibitors. We also had our BBB accreditation mid last year. Though there were also minor bumps ahead, the year 2018 proved to be a good year for ReadersMagnet.  The coming year will be even more exciting for us and we would like to share some of the things we are about to experience together this 2019.

Sharing New Stories With the World.

ReadersMagnet Self-Publishing is looking forward to showcasing its new titles this 2019. Through its comprehensive publishing services, we are proud and excited to add more authors to our list. We already published 74 last year and given the increasing market for self-publishing, Readersmagnet is excited to welcome another batch of narratives and share it with the reading public. As for marketing, this year is a great year for the book marketing campaign and ReadersMagnet is not going to shy away from making sure our authors get the best book marketing campaign. We have already solidified our marketing arsenal with our standing top of the line marketing services that includes the Online Brand Publicity, Dynamic Website, SEO Through Blogging, Social media Advertising, Book Trailer, Press Release Campaign, Book Review, Printing Advertising, Marketing Materials. Last year, we successfully quite a number of prestigious national and international book fairs and book signing events. This year, our Radio Interview services will continue via our partnership with This Week in America’s Ric Bratton.

Calendar of Book Fairs

The calendar for our national and international book fairs is already set. This year promises to be a busy yet full of opportunities as far as attending book events are concerned. In fact, Readersmagnet Self-Publishing already has the dates for this year’s book fair commitments. We are going to start the year with the 2019 American Library Association Midwinter to be held in Seattle, Washington this month. Our first international book fair is the 2019 London Book Fair (New Title Showcase) this March 12 to 14, 2019. April will be quite busy for all of us as we embark on three book events namely this year’s Bologna Children’s Book Fair and the 2019 Association of College and Research Libraries. This April, we will also be attending for the first time the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books to be held in the University of Southern California campus on the 13th and 14th. There will be two national book events this May with 2019 New York Rights Fair and 2019 BookExpo New Title Showcase. The 2019 American Library Association Annual and the 2019 National Education Association will push through this June 21 to 24 and July 2 to 3, respectively. Asia’s most awaited book fair, the Beijing International Book Fair is scheduled this August 21 and will last until the 25th. This will signal the start of a series of international books fairs that will last until the last month of 2019. For the third time, we will also be joining the annual Frankfurt International Book Fair in Germany this October. We will end the month with the biggest literary engagement in the Arab-speaking world which is the 2019 Sharjah International Book Fair. After that, Readersmagnet is coming to America for two grand literary events- the 36th Miami Book Fair International and the 2019 Guadalajara International Book Fair. Our recent success with our first Miami Book Fair is sure to attract more authors and book fans. Last year, we successfully set up two booths for the fair and the book signing event.

Los Angeles Times Book of Festivals

As mentioned above, this year is extra special because we will be joining the famous Los Angeles Times Festival of Books for the first time. This year marks the 23rd Festival of Books. Founded in 1996, the Festival is an event open to the public. Its goal is to celebrate literature and reading appreciation. Over the years, it has grown into an anticipated book event attracting 200,000 attendees including authors, publishers, and book lovers all over the country. ReadersMagnet will be among the 500 exhibitors in this year’s Festival. LA Times Festival of Books also has a unique feature aside from its vibrant crowd. Home to the world-famous Hollywood, stars, and celebrities have graced the occasion either as speakers, panelists, or just mere visitors hopping from one booth to another.

Authors Lounge

This year we are also launching the Authors Lounge. Authors Lounge is a blog site which offers authors the opportunity to publish articles related to their titles. All they have to do is to register to the site using their email and contact information. Once registered, they can post original articles to the blog site. The program is on a first come, first serve basis. The most important feature is that authors can publish articles and advertise their books for free.

Overall, 2019 promises to be an exciting year not only for our authors but also for our target audience. There are plenty of opportunities to grab and events to participate in. Most importantly the coming year offers new discoveries and experiences to look forward to both in publishing and marketing aspect. There might be challenges ahead but ReadersMagnet is more than willing to face them with commitment and positive outlook. Indeed, we are more than ready to conquer the year and continue sharing your stories with the world this 2019!
