At ReadersMagnet, we help you find your niche in the publishing world. Our Author Spotlight Program, or “Author Spotlight,” helps promote, celebrate, and highlight authors and their works. Here, an author is given a time to talk about their book, brand, and advocacy. ReadersMagnet encourages author to share their stories and have a platform to convey their message.

So, how does an author get the spotlight?

There are several ways an author can be featured in several ReadersMagnet events and engagements. These include the RMazing Bonanza, Author Interview, Roundtable Session, and Book Confab Booktok.

RMazing Bonanza

An author in the ReadersMagnet roster can be selected for a raffle draw in RMazing Bonanza. RMazing Bonanza allows an author to avail marketing services and an author spotlight FOR FREE. With the author spotlight, the author will have a chance to share about the highlights of their books to be used as promotional material on ReadersMagnet’s social media platforms.

Author Interview

If you are an author, another way to have your spotlight is to be in an Author Interview. This interview session allows you to have your own author spotlight and share your story with your audience. An RM staff member hosts this session and is only focused on you and your book. With this, you can have the chance to promote your book and your brand.

ReadersMagnet has two types of Author Interviews that will spotlight you and your work:

ReadersMagnet offers a service that will showcase the author and their works. This service brings the author into the spotlight. An RM Hive host will ask questions related to the author and their books, strengthening their brand. This interview is live-streamed through ReadersMagnet’s social media platforms.

TFOS Author of the Hour

The Festival of Storytellers (TFOS) is an annual event held by ReadersMagnet. It is the largest virtual book event that invites authors and fairgoers to discover new books and engage. If you join this event as an author, you will have the opportunity to have your book displayed on the TFOS website, along with your information as the writer. You may also get invited for Author of the Hour.

TFOS Author of the Hour is an hour-long discussion and interview session that spotlights you as the author. Here, the host will ask you questions related to your book, advocacy, or journey as an author. Roundtable Session

Another event that will give you the author spotlight is ReadersMagnet’s Roundtable Sessions. This event is also a part of The Festival of Storytellers, which can happen months before the actual event. Here, a group of authors is invited to discuss specific topics that reflect their brand. As an author, you will have the chance to share your thoughts and let your target audience know about what you stand for.

Book Confab BookTok

Are you an author who is eager to share about your book and boost your marketability? ReadersMagnet has a program that will let you hone your skills at sharing your thoughts and strengthening your branding. ReadersMagnet will host a book confab, which invites authors to a private event to let them talk about their books, advocacy, and brand. It allows the authors to express their thoughts while staying focused on branding through a BookTok session.

In the BookTok session, each author is given a time to share their stories and let their audience discover a great story. This session is live-streamed through the ReadersMagnet social media platforms. This program also gives convenience to authors attending huge book festivals, letting them practice their speech or marketing strategies before they get to their major book event.
