ReadersMagnet once again snags the spotlight as one of the finalists for the 2024 BBB Torch Awards for Ethics in San Diego, CA. The event will happen on September 17, 2024, at the La Jolla Marriot in San Diego.

As the only publishing company in the mix of other reliable businesses, ReadersMagnet proudly raises its flag as it envisions helping emerging and established authors share their stories with the world. ReadersMagnet connects authors with experts in the publishing process, which includes editorial services, designs, marketing packages, and more.

Second Time’s a Charm!

This year marks the second time that ReadersMagnet has affirmed its reputation as one of the most trustworthy and reliable self-publishing and book marketing companies. It was also a finalist in the BBB Torch Awards for Ethics in 2022.

Being a finalist is already worth celebrating as we beat hundreds of aspirants to be in the spotlight. This trophy is a symbol of our united effort, ensuring quality in our work, emulating business values and clean practices,” ReadersMagnet’s Vice President John Carl O. Abines said during the 2022 BBB Torch Awards.

The Better Business Bureau (BBB) is a body that reviews and connects businesses with their integrity and performance in the marketplace.  It awards and honors the most trustworthy and exceptional businesses of the season based on a business’s achievement and level of reliability with its clients.

ReadersMagnet has a mission of delivering superior quality and world-class author experience while staying true to its core values that partners prefer for their business, employees are proud of, and authors strongly recommend. It is also a proud member of the Independent Book Publishers Association (IBPA).

Why ReadersMagnet?

There are many things that set ReadersMagnet apart from the others. They are active in providing exceptional and superior services to their clients, supporting their employees’ well-being and growth, and selflessly serving the community. With ReadersMagnet, authors can ensure their works match the maximum quality of traditionally published books, making readers happy and establishing a strong connection between them and their audience.

ReadersMagnet to Its Partners

ReadersMagnet has created a strong partnership with authors through the years. At ReadersMagnet, every story matters. We make sure to have an avenue for authors to become the brightest, boldest, and most anticipated storytellers the world has ever known one step at a time.

ReadersMagnet proudly works with a diverse set of authors, including emerging and established authors. These include women, LGBTQIA+ community members, migrants, veterans, people of color, people with disabilities, and people from different religious/spiritual backgrounds. We present their stories to the world and help them find their niche in the publishing industry.

Our authors are also given the opportunity to raise their voices, share their stories, and promote their causes at ReadersMagnet’s signature events, such as The Festival of Storytellers (TFOS) and the Book Confabs.

The Festival of Storytellers (TFOS) is an annual virtual event that features the RM roster of authors to the audience on the World Wide Web. In this event, the authors get featured to talk about their books and their journeys in writing their stories. RM authors also get to be in roundtable sessions with other authors as they talk about their writing process.

The Book Confabs are an intimate gathering of authors happening in major cities. This intimate gathering allows the authors to talk about their latest releases and answer questions from other attending authors and guests. The talks are streamed live on the internet via ReadersMagnet’s Website, Facebook Page, YouTube, and other social media platforms.

Among the wordsmiths in the ReadersMagnet roster, the following authors have been our strong partners who are prominent in the RM events:

Susan Aurelia Gitelson

Susan is an 80-year-old New Yorker from the Upper East, a charitable woman and author. Her book Giving is Not Just for the Rich emphasizes philanthropy, how to find the charities that suit your advocacy, and realizing the sense of purpose when partnering with a charitable program. Because of her partnership with ReadersMagnet, the company provides her transportation and assistance when she wishes to attend our events. Susan was a featured author in the New York Times and Publisher’s Weekly magazines.

Eleanor Gaccetta

Ellie is an author, speaker, and home cook/baker. Her books One Caregiver’s Journey and Generations of Good Food are non-fiction, talking about her experience of taking care of her dying mother and the 200 recipes that have been passed down from generations before her. Ellie has been a long-time partner of ReadersMagnet, making her one of RM’s hosts at events such as TFOS.

Tish is a single mom, an author, a speaker, and a lover of God’s Word. She strives to preach and practice the scriptures in her daily life. Her books Morning Tea with the King and So You Want to be a First Lady both provide inspiration to their readers, tackling the Gospel and the perspective of a fictional woman married to a pastor. Tish has been an active partner in ReadersMagnet’s events, opening an opportunity to be ReadersMagnet’s resident host for the Book Confabs and TFOS.

Jaime Morales

Jaime is an immigrant from Puerto Rico and a member of the LGBTQIA+ community. He once struggled to express himself and be fully accepted by society throughout his adulthood. With this, he also finds the challenge of promoting his advocacies through his book The Pushits because of censorship rules. ReadersMagnet allows Jaime a safe space to express and promote his cause through his stories, which are waiting to be told.

These four authors come from different stereotypes but are connected through their advocacies. They provide inspiration to audiences around the world. Despite their limitations, stereotypes, and difficulties, ReadersMagnet provides them an avenue to let their voice reverberate through their stories.

ReadersMagnet to the Community

ReadersMagnet to Its Employees

ReadersMagnet does not only keep its partners and clients happy. It also honors its employees. On July 4, the company will hold its Mid-Year Award, which will honor and award employees who best reflect the atmosphere, vision, and mission of the company.
