Attending book fairs, especially the ones conducted inside universities, is one way to level up your author branding and book marketing. Aside from linking yourself with educators and media people, you can get more online and offline exposure for potential followers and buyers.

Hosted by the University of San Diego, The San Diego Union-Tribune Festival of Books (SDUTFOB) is prepared to open its 7th annual on August 19, 2023. The one-day book festival is expected to exhibit new book titles, facilitate discussions with award-winning authors, conduct workshops, provide live entertainment, and more. As one of the sponsors, ReadersMagnet, a San Diego-based company, is more than glad to bring more self-published authors to the book festival.

ReadersMagnet: As One of the Festival Sponsors

As your path to The San Diego Union-Tribune Festival of Books, ReadersMagnet ensures that you’ll get the best possible attention at the book fair. The finalist of the BBB Torch Awards for Ethics 2022 invested in the event as a sponsor to prepare a better way for our valued indie authors.

While doing a Book Confab near the festival, ReadersMagnet has secured a bigger booth at SDUTFOB to display more than a hundred books and facilitate book signings. In addition, the self-publishing agency will also continue to do the usual sending of press releases and producing marketing materials for attending authors.

Getting to Know The San Diego Union-Tribune

The San Diego Union-Tribune is acclaimed as San Diego’s largest media company and its oldest business, dating back to the founding of the Union in 1868. The publication is touching the lives of more than 96 percent of San Diego County households weekly. It partnered again with the University of San Diego to bring a productive festival of books for readers, authors, publishers, and the public at large.

Aside from its Pulitzer Prize-winning newspaper (The San Diego Union-Tribune), the company has the region’s most popular website (SanDiegoUnionTribune.com); weekly entertainment guide (Night + Day); lifestyle magazine (Pacific San Diego); Spanish-language weekly (Hoy San Diego); and nine community newspapers (the La Jolla Light; Del Mar Times; Encinitas Advocate; Solana Beach Sun; Carmel Valley Times; Poway News Chieftain; Rancho Santa Fe Review; Ramona Sentinel and Rancho Bernardo News Journal).
