This is a book aimed at kids who are just about to read or as a beginner. The stories are positive on making the right decisions, how to deal with bullies, as well as being okay to be different. Some of the stories just appeal to the young reader's imagination, instead of teaching a lesson. They are designed to engage young readers and promote a love for reading.
Alana Konieczka was born in Chicago and still lives in Illinois. Her motto is faith/family/friends (2 and 4 legged) and freedom. She is a lifelong voracious reader. She and her friends used to take books out of the library every summer, and read every afternoon. Books like Encyclopedia Brown, Nancy Drew, and anything written by Laura Ingalls Wilder. She is a fan of Wuthering Heights and currently enjoys mostly fiction series. Alana is a current president of The Friends Of the Library in her local library and helps run a local church food drive. She has been invited to meet with a couple of local young writers’ clubs to give them some guidance and answer their questions. She currently shares her home with 2 rescue dogs, and fully believes in adopting, don’t shop. She is also very happy to find rescue animals for her friends and family members. You might just find one or two of her dogs in her books.
