Description

This is the story of a Vietnamese farm girl who was born out of wedlock, whose father was an American helicopter pilot, and whose mother was a young Vietnamese girl in 1964. Her story is an incredible read and you'll find out why. When a girl is born out of wedlock, it was considered an outrageous thing in Vietnam, so the mother of the farm girl was embarrassed to tell anyone about her baby girl. So, grandma said, “Just don't tell anyone you have that daughter. I will raise the young girl for you, and no one needs to know ever.” When the girl’s mother met another man when the girl was about 5 years old, she didn't tell him until they were together for a few years that she had another child, but her new husband loved her enough that he didn't care anyway.
