The Unexpected Witness

The killer quickly looks around suspiciously, cursing the man who lay dead on the floor, when he senses he was being watched. His eyes rest on the floor above him and he makes eye contact with a woman. From the stricken expression on her face, he knows she has witnessed what has happened.

Shannon Drake, a commercial photographer for Seaton Publishing, never thought her first out of town assignment to New York would include murder-a murder she is a sole witness to. But with the lack of evidence and a vague description of the gunman, New York’s finest don’t have much to go on, forcing her take matters into her own hands. Though unbeknownst to her, the death of this stranger, was just the beginning of her troubles for there were other deadly players involved besides her phantom killer.
