Death thought his job would be easy: keep tabs in his assigned Bones Abode cemetery. Make sure every soul stays in their proper coffin and send souls for rebirth as the Wheels of Reincarnation. This was, after all, why Death had attended the School of the Demised. His only aide-the Shadow of Death-helped things run smoothly.
Some things they just don't teach you in school, however. How do you deal with family reunions that might not be amicable when the laws of karma between them are present? What do you do about an escaped soul named Goblin the Vampyre who feasts on the living whenever he can? Goblin the Vampyre would love to have life completely his way, but Death and his Shadow of Death are in his way, so he wants them dead. A witty, lighthearted tale of life beyond the grave, The Bones Abode explores how far love, forgiveness and redemption will go even into the afterlife when karma is ever present.
The real question is how do you kill someone who is already dead?
