I came from a noisy world of crime, racism drugs, prison street, violence and death which will never make my soul ever be on one accord joy and peace. Born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, I spent my first 11 years in Detroit, Michigan, from 11 to almost 17 years of age, I was mostly raised by my grandmother in Minneapolis, Minnesota. My early years were accompanied with several hurdles of mistreatment, foster home placement, substance addiction, confinements in jail and prison. My one and only son was murdered in 2006.
