Description

Robyn’s insecurities about her weight and longing for acceptance from a man led her into a whirlwind relationship with Min. Troy at Mt. Moriah Christian Fellowship. He was a charming, handsome minister who gave her attention, and it resulted in an unwanted pregnancy. Robyn now faced choices she never imagined; one that would change her life forever. How could she have a baby with Min. Troy when they weren’t married and became known as the church’s baby momma? Everyone would know they had been fornicating. She couldn’t face that shame or her critical mother’s judgment, whose approval she had always craved. Robyn chose to “never” and aborted the baby so life could return to normal. But life never would be. She didn’t know other women lived with this same pain and regret. It’s rarely mentioned in the polarizing pro-life and pro-choice debates. Real women’s lives are affected, yet most never speak of it for fear of shame, guilt, and regret; feelings Robyn knew too well. She could not recall any woman in her life ever sharing such regret. The topic was avoided. How could she handle this sadness? Would God forgive her for ending her unborn child’s life? These questions began a journey revealing deeper reasons behind her decision, answers hidden in the story of her life, and taught her to never say never.
