Ray Acuña

Mr. Acuña enlisted in the U.S. Air Force in 1961. In 1965, Mr. Acuña served two combat tours in Vietnam. While there, he had the distinct pleasure of meeting the first U.S. president ever to visit a combat zone: Lyndon B. Johnson, who in conversation referred to them as “fellow Texans”. After returning to the United States, he continued his career in the Air Force and obtained an Associate of Arts degree in Criminal Justice.In 1973, he was selected to the U.S. Air Force Office of Special Investigations (AFOSI) as a special agent, with subsequent attendance of the OSI Academy. He served in that capacity until retirement in 1987. In 1989 Mr. Acuña went to work in an Army installation in the field of law enforcement, serving as the Deputy Provost Marshal, where he served until he retired in 2011.After fifty years of government service, Mr. Acuña currently resides with his wife Roselia in the state of Texas.
