Description	Parker is turning four today. He decides that he is old enough to go on an adventure by himself with his dog, Penny, into the magical forest where all the animals talk. He sees a cave and decides to explore. Parker and Penny became lost in the cave. There are bats, and Parker is afraid of bats. The animals in the forest rescue him, and bring his mom and dad to find him. He learns his lesson to always obey his parents, and not go off alone again.

Margaret Krivchenia loves to write and reads all forms of literature, especially mystery and adventure novels. She began writing children’s books based on her four grandchildren with The Four Cousins Mystery Series (5 books in this series) for ages 8-12 years of age. She published her first adult novel, Evermore, a historical mystery/romance in 2022. Escape from Bat Cave, A Parker and Penny Adventure is her first book for 4-7 year olds.
The story’s main character is her grandson and his dog.
