Jene grew up in a small rural town in Utah, lived in Europe for two years as a missionary, returned home, married, started a business, had a family, spent several years as an adult leader in the Boy Scouts, has five children and a dozen grandchildren, lost his wife of 28 years to cancer, sold his business, married again, moved to California, finally got serious about his writing and published 20 books, moved back to Utah, where he is writing many more adventures to come.
Jene wrote his first real story (10-page Sci-Fi), at age 9 and he has been writing ever since. Writing is a daily adventure.
