Beth Watter

Elisabeth Watter grew up in the Missouri Ozarks. She moved to Northern Illinois when she was 16. She graduated from Freeport High School and married her high school sweetheart, Klaus.

Their youngest of three sons, Nik was born with a heart defect. After his heart repair, his lungs collapsed, causing brain damage.
After helping him to get thru school, Nik become an Eagle Scout and take college classes to become an artist. She decided to write to help other families to overcome challenges.
