Seeing their titles listed in Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and other online bookstores does put a smile on our faces. To date, ReadersMagnet has serviced hundreds of authors and published titles of diverse genres and themes. Moreover, we continue to entertain more authors who wish to publish with us; indeed, more authors than any publishing company can imagine. Would not that be a cause for celebration and thanksgiving?
ReadersMagnet considers it its mission to keep the spirit of sharing stories alive – and extensive – amid the COVID-19 pandemic. We would be remiss in our mission if we fail or refuse to expand our services to a broader range of clientele. So, what better place to start expanding our mission than Canada, and what better time to do that than during the Thanksgiving season?

Canada is one of the biggest book markets in the world; according to a Publishers Weekly article in 2018, the country’s publishing market is the 12th largest in the world. More than 10,000 books are published each year in Canada, according to the Association of Canadian Publishers (ACP). The Canadian Book Market 2019 by BookNet Canada reveals that more than 806,420 unique ISBNs were sold, translating to 54,587,071 physical books sold at a total value of $1,128,176,834.68. Such huge numbers, aren’t they? And very impressive too.
