The Beijing International Book Fair (BIBF) is the world’s second largest book fair and is organized by the state-owned China National Publications Import & Export (Group) Corporation.
The Chinese book market is the largest in the world by volume and the second largest in terms of purchasing power parity (PPP) after that of the U.S. The vast market also numbers more than 500 publishing houses of its own. The BIBF is committed to the promotion of reading; copyright trading of Chinese and foreign publications and digital media publications, and; import and export of physical books, with a focus on STEM, academic, and children’s titles in English.
