The American Association of School Librarians (AASL) National Conference & Exhibition is dubbed by organizers as “the most motivating and inspiring professional event” for “developing leaders in education.” It is also the largest gathering of school library officials, educators, and district and state level administrators.
Held every two years, the AASL National Conference caters to the needs of school librarians and their roles as educational leaders. The event is coordinated by a member-committee composed of association leaders from across the nation.
The AASL National Conference is the primary continuing education activity and leading professional development event for school librarians. Aside from that, it is also an excellent educational and business forum for the entire library and educational community.
Attendees to the AASL National Conference also look forward to the exhibition, where products and services that meet the needs of schools and student readers are on display. This is a must-attend event for authors and publishers of children’s books, as well as any exhibitors that wish to break into the $5-billion library market.
