Why is ReadersMagnet not a scam? Since its inception two years ago, it has already published over a hundred titles and has market self-published authors and their brands through its wide variety of marketing packages.
ReadersMagnet is a self-publishing company that provides publishing and marketing services for aspiring authors. It is relatively new in the publishing industry but definitely not a scam. As a limited liability company, it has already distinguished itself as a credible business partner and a company with integrity. ReadersMagnet has already established partnerships with some of the most trusted institutions in the field of publishing and marketing. Any claim of it being a bogus enterprise is at the very least ridiculous. While the company acknowledges that it cannot please every entity, ReadersMagnet certainly won’t stand for any libelous claims, let alone a bad blog accusing the company as a scam.
Why is ReadersMagnet not a scam? Because as a publishing service provider, ReadersMagnet provides quality service packages to its client-authors. These packages are designed not only to meet the standard requirement for book publication but also sensitive to the financial capabilities of most aspiring authors. It has consistently delivered top of the line publishing services and the fulfillment of over 100 published titles is enough proof that ReadersMagnet is not a scam.
But three months ago an author name Kristina Chess claimed in her blog article that ReadersMagnet is a scam.

ReadersMagnet partners itself with some of the most trustworthy, established, and credible personalities, organizations, and institutions for its book marketing campaign and events such as the various national and international book fairs, Publisher’s Weekly Magazine for its print advertising, and This Week in America with Ric Bratton for its radio interview packages. These affiliations and partnerships are not mediocre and more than enough to prove that ReadersMagnet is not a scam.
Why Is ReadersMagnet Not A Scam? And to close the argument regarding the ReadersMagnet scam issue, the company was recently awarded its BBB (Better Business Bureau) accreditation with an A level, the second highest in BBB’s rank scale.

I would not call ReadersMagnet a scam. They have published ‘I Love the Trees’ for me and they did a great cover. Although the type of cover was my idea, they did a wonderful job putting things together. That being said, when I read what other people are saying, describing them as a good publishing company I have to wonder if Readers Magnet treats everyone fairly or do they pick and choose who to treat well.
I brought my manuscript to them late 2018. It was not published until September 2021. They blamed Covid for a lot of the setbacks and I understand that, but they got the manuscript long before covid. I paid them $350 for a website and when the book came out I had no website. The website had been there for 2 years without the book and the same week the book was published, they took down the website so, I paid for nothing, and they do not see anything wrong with their actions. I accepted the loss and moved on.
When I received the Authors copy of the book, I found minor errors and there were no page numbers and so I had to do a resubmission. I had no problem with that because I had already waited two years for this book, what is waiting another couple months. In November, I received a call and an email stating everything was set. I can go ahead and order my books. However, it is now June 2022 and when I order books from Amazon some copies have errors. Amazon told me they can’t do anything about it, ReadersMagnet has to fix it on their end because the problem is with the upload. I have called them several times and left messages, because no one picks up the phone. I have emailed them twice and no one responded. I had to stop advertising and selling my book because I do not know what a buyer will receive when they make a purchase.
A good publishing house takes care of its people, not some, everyone. Sometimes I have to ask , why me? I have been patient with ReadersMagnet and since they are not responding to my calls or emails I have no choice but to seek legal advice.
After I wrote this comment ReadersMagnet reached out to me and they did a great deal to rectify my problems. Let me say thank you.

ReadersMagnet leaves much to be desired in the customer service department. I’ve paid quite a bit of money for a 2 book package and it took far longer than what they told me. And I also commissioned a website.
I had to hound them for complementary copies – I received the second book long before the first.
I now have 2 problems:
1. The 1st book has a printing error which needs to be corrected and I’ve not heard from anyone with regards to this in the past 3 weeks.
2. The website has had problems since it’s posting back in March. Nothing on it has ever worked and the more they tried to fix it the worse it got. In June I requested they take it down and refund me. But again I’m met with silence.
I’ve had so many problems with ReadersMagnet, between their production and customer service teams, that I regret ever having my books published with them.
