With much energy, positivity, and anticipation, ReadersMagnet kicked off the 2025 LA Book Confab with authors eager to share their stories with the world.
This year’s LA Book Confab was a blast as it paved the way for the introduction of some of the most compelling authors of this generation. Authors of different genres found a way to talk about their platforms and stories last April 23 and 24, 2025. The two-day event at Hilton Los Angeles/Universal City gathered self-publishing authors, allowing them to share their stories with audiences seeking to discover new stories and amazing experiences.
The LA Book Confab is an event by ReadersMagnet that gathers authors to share their works in front of an audience. Each author is given 30 minutes to present their works, showcasing their abilities and creativity.

During the event, independent authors connected with their audiences as they reflected on their writing journeys and promoted their current published books. ReadersMagnet did not only focus on highlighting the authors in its roster; non-RM authors were welcomed to share their masterpieces with physical and digital audiences.
Open Mic Session
Authors not on the RM roster have also heard about ReadersMagnet holding a book event at Hilton Los Angeles. These visiting authors had their spotlight during the Open Mic Session, which allowed them to share their books as well. Each visiting author was given five minutes to discuss their works, including the Q&A session.
Book Displays
ReadersMagnet’s LA Book Confab also exhibits the works of its authors, allowing fairgoers to discover stories of fiction and nonfiction. As the author-featuring program is happening, fairgoers can also visit the shelves to purchase a copy of a book. Each book displayed has QR codes, which a fairgoer can scan to order.
Book Plugs

The two-day event also did a scavenger hunt, allowing the fairgoer win a brand new Kindle. During the event, the fairgoers can scan through the books and look for the ReadersMagnet event mascot. Finding these event mascots gives them a chance to win a brand-new Kindle in a raffle draw.
