Barely four months since the launch of its supported self-publishing arm, ReadersMagnet is already on a roll. The independent book marketing and supported self-publishing firm is proud to announce the publication of the first four titles: Leatha Patton’s Bridges, Omid Olfet’s D like DOLL E like EVIL, Deborah Ruth Reaves’ From Weeds To Wisdom, and Carolyn T. Linn’s Heaven Is Amazing.
The first two book are works of fiction while the last two belong to Christian literature. The post-Civil War novel Bridges by Chicago author and DePaul alumni Patton highlights the story of two families from different eras, whose current lives and hope for the future are impacted by the legacy their ancestor has left behind. The story takes place in Chicago.
D like DOLL E like EVIL, writer by In The Dark creator Olfet, is about a boy with a strange attachment to his doll, which he takes with him on his life journey. The novel is part family drama (replete with themes of family, abuse, anger, identity, parents, and suffering) and part suspense (the story reveals the history and mystery of the doll as it progresses).
ReadersMagnet hopes to break into the Christian market with the publication of two faith-themed books. From Weeds To Wisdom, written by inspirational speaker and Christian contemporary singer Reaves, aims to remind Christians to never look at their life as something insignificant and exhort them to infuse spirituality in their everyday life.
Heaven Is Amazing by Linn, a cancer survivor and advocate for mental illness, speaks of the author’s desire to reach the heavenly home. She introduces heaven as a place that contains beauty, variety, and abundance where people will live in an intimate relationship with God and imparts a message of hope and encouragement to readers.
With already four published titles under its belt, ReadersMagnet hopes to appeal to a diverse range of authors and literary forms.
